We have single and double kayaks for rent and offer taxi services to the best spots in the area. Barkley Sound is a beautiful place for paddling. The combination of open ocean, tall mountains and a huge network of islands makes for spectacular scenery and conditions. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting out there are great conditions for all skill levels. The more adventurous may want to explore the rugged outer edge of Barkley Sound, while others may prefer to explore the maze of calm, protected waterways within the island groups. Common wildlife include gray whales, humpback whales, Stellar and California sea lions, harbour seals, harbour porpoise, black bears and occasionally orca. We also see a wide variety of marine birds including bald eagles, great blue herons, harlequin ducks and belted kingfishers.
Broken Group Islands
